The Bags of Ethics label is our own in house standard. It promotes the people and the planet behind the product – the designers, famers, tailors, customers and environment. It is a positive label that recognises those who have made conscious efforts to promote environmentally and socially sustainable practice.
We are delighted to have our practice acknowledged by Fairtrade – an international labeling standard that allows customers to display solidarity with those involved in the producing their commodities. They have strict codes of ethics centered on fair wages, occupational safety and wellbeing, and environmental practice. We also offer Fairtrade certified cotton options.
Supplier of Ethical Data Exchange, is a membership organisation for businesses committed to continuous improvement of the ethical performance of their supply chains. Our SEDEX membership enables our customers to independently confirm the source of their products to ensure the process aligns with their own ethical standards.
When it comes to planetary preservation, it is not enough to just manufacture commodities sustainably, it is also important to invest in practices that counteract the impacts of the supply chain as a whole.
